BankVault MasterKey on Stage at SLINGSHOT 2025

BankVault MasterKey was selected among the world’s Top 60 startups at SLINGSHOT 2025 in Singapore, chosen from 6,800 global applicants.

The programme brought together sixty deep-tech companies across AI robotics, advanced materials, energy storage, life sciences, and cybersecurity. The range of innovation on display underscored the intensity and diversity of the global deep-tech ecosystem.

The Main Stage

Pitching on the main stage at SLINGSHOT placed BankVault among a highly competitive global cohort. The format was uncompromising: three minutes, no lectern, no notes, and a fixed stop at zero.

The stage itself spanned 30 metres. The margin for clarity was measured in seconds.

BankVault represented Western Australia as the only Australian company in the Top 60. The Western Australian delegation, sponsored by the WA Government, filled the front rows in visible support. The presence of Hon. Stephen Dawson, Minister for Innovation, further reinforced the significance of the moment.

The opportunity to present MasterKey on a global platform of this scale marked a major milestone for the company.

A Global Deep-Tech Convergence

Beyond the competition, SLINGSHOT was a convergence of scientific ambition and commercial execution. Stand-out innovations included breakthrough work in medical diagnostics, including WomanX Biotech’s novel cervical cancer detection method derived from advanced oncology research.

Singapore’s role as host was equally significant. Through Enterprise Singapore, SWITCH, and related initiatives, the country continues to position itself as a strategic hub for global technology companies seeking expansion into Asia.

Following the competition, BankVault remained in Singapore to pursue partnerships and explore long-term regional presence.

What It Means

Being selected among the world’s Top 60 startups from 6,800 applicants confirms that MasterKey’s deployment-first approach to Passwordless authentication has global relevance.

SLINGSHOT 2025 was more than a competition. It was a convergence of scientific depth, commercial ambition, and international expansion. Presenting on that stage reinforces that the constraint holding Passwordless back has been structural, not conceptual.

The momentum from Singapore now translates into partnerships, investor engagement, and regional expansion.

BankVault is building for global scale.
