This demonstration captures login credentials from the user, encodes and encrypts these in a decentralized protocol, and then retrieves them to deliver a passwordless experience. It displays the decoded credentials it deciphered and would use to authenticate the user.
- First Login: Enter any username and password (pretend these are your real credentials).
- Subsequent Logins – Tap to log in and experience passwordless authentication — no software, no setup.
The system also displays the mobile device signature as a second factor (2FA) — again, with no software or setup.
FIDO compliance (Passkeys) enables 3FA via backend activation. When enabled the user’s device prompts setup, adding Proof-of-Presence to authentication. Passkeys is not enabled in this demo but if your advisor switches on Passkeys (3FA), you’ll need to reset MasterKey on your device.
- At the “Auto login” prompt, press “Cancel” then “Forget Me.”
- Enter a new username and password.
