High Priority: Google patches 9 security flaws

Google has updated its Chrome browser to patch 9 security flaws and it is highly recommended users update their browsers immediately on Windows, Mac and Linux to the latest version 50.0.2661.94.

The software vulnerabilities allow hackers to take control of a computer, potentially access personal information including banking details that can be used to steal money and the victim’s identity.

The full details can be viewed here: review and apply the Chrome update.

We recommend customers configure their applications from trusted providers to automatically update. This minimises the risks of forgetting to apply an update and restricts attackers ability to access sensitive personal and financial data.
