Seeking Diversity In Cyber Security

Thanks to the Australian Cyber Security Magazine, for the opportunity for BankVault’s Head Of Growth, Jackie Shervington to share her personal thoughts on diversity in cyber security.

Women are globally underrepresented in the cybersecurity profession at 11%, much lower than the representation of women in the overall global workforce.

The threat of cyberattacks is no longer a distant possibility.

To deliver effective solutions we need diversity in teams – not just gender diversity but more diverse talent and experience. By creating a larger pool of talent we can develop rich responses to the increasing threat of cybersecurity attacks.

We witness this daily within our BankVault team which embraces rich nuances in approach, different insights, unique specialisations and different perspectives to create stronger outcomes.
